/ / / gorgeous vintage Persian Tribal runner rug with rare narrow width and lots of lovely colors- she’s a special beauty! I love thinking about the history of old rugs-where in the world have they been? What homes have they lived in? There is a certain romance and mystery to these hand knotted pieces of art.
/ / / condition: good vintage condition. This rug is not perfectly rectangular, it has a more organic shape and slight taper on one end from 2’5” to 2’4”. There is also a color gradient, and a patch/repair, please see photos. This rug has been professionally restored and the headends secured, ensuring many, many more years of life. I highly recommend using rug pad with grip backing to keep your rug in place and to smooth out any wrinkles from shipping-using a rug pad will also protect your rug from damage, and therefore prolong the life of your rug.
