/ / / gorgeous hand knotted vintage Turkish runner rug, we are imagining this wide runner rug in a galley kitchen or entryway. The deep blue central medallion pulls focus and the playful flora and fauna motifs add rich character to this piece. Can you spot the multiple birds in the field? - she’s a special beauty! / / / condition: very good vintage condition. This rug is slightly non rectangular and has a more organic shape. There is some slight color bleed in the medallion. It has been professionally cleaned, restored and the headends secured, ensuring many, many more years of life. I highly recommend using rug pad with grip backing to keep your rug in place and to smooth out any wrinkles from shipping-using a rug pad will also protect your rug from damage, and therefore prolong the life of your rug. But really- get a rug pad! I have handpicked this rug specifically for its rustic, timeworn appeal. It may have other small imperfections- which is part of the charm of these old textiles.
