/ / / A vintage Turkish Kazak rug in rare colors, this beauty features not only a more open field design but also rare shades of teal and turquoise. This beauty is also so soft and plush with a thicker wool pile and foundation, it will be perfect for any place in your home.
/ / / condition: very good vintage condition with a lovely ombre fade. This rug has a slight taper on one end from 4’3” to 4’0”. It has been professionally cleaned, restored and the headends secured, ensuring many, many more years of life. I highly recommend using rug pad with grip backing to keep your rug in place and to smooth out any wrinkles from shipping-using a rug pad will also protect your rug from damage, and therefore prolong the life of your rug. But really- get a rug pad! I have handpicked this rug specifically for its rustic, timeworn appeal. It may have other small imperfections- which is part of the charm of these old textiles.
/ / / pile: medium/plush
/ / / pile height: 3/8”
/ / / weight: medium/heavy (rug pad recommended)
/ / / colors: blue turquoise, teal, burnt orange, deep slate blue, old rose, celadon grey, chocolate, cappuccino, deep lead lavender
/ / / The lighting conditions in the Experimental Vintage studio where these photos are taken are as follows: good natural light coming from a wall of large, south-facing windows on a cloudy Portland day. This rug may look darker or brighter in your own space, depending on the natural lighting conditions in your home.
>> this item will ship to you within 3-5 business days via FedEx Ground or USPS Priority Mail, and includes insurance. I am happy to ship this rug internationally-please contact me for a custom shipping quote. <<
