vintage Turkish Kazak rug, 5'8"x3'11"
Measures: 5’8”x3’11”
100% wool pile on wool foundation
/ / / This vintage Turkish Kazak rug is perfect for someone adding pops of blue. Its geometric design is easy on the eyes too. I’m imagining this beauty bedside, in the kitchen or even as your entryway or mudroom room rug.
/ / / condition: very good vintage condition, with some slight color bleed from the indigo throughout. It has been professionally cleaned, restored and the headends secured, ensuring many, many more years of life. I have handpicked this rug specifically for its rustic, timeworn appeal. It may have other small imperfections- which is part of the charm of these old textiles.
/ / / care: vacuum your rug carefully, avoiding the fringe. Spot clean with warm water and mild wool specific soap. I highly recommend using a rug pad to keep your rug in place, it will also protect your rug from damage, and therefore prolong the life of your rug.
/ / / pile: low
/ / / pile height: 1/4”
/ / / weight: medium (rug pad recommended)
/ / / colors: shades of indigo, terra cotta, sky blue, cork, garnet, pale apricot, burnt orange
/ / / The lighting conditions in the studio where these photos were taken are as follows: good natural light coming from a wall of large, south-facing windows on a sunny Portland day. This rug may look darker or brighter in your own space, depending on the natural lighting conditions in your home.
