/ / / What we love about a vintage Persian Serab runner rug is that they often have bright, natural undyed wool backgrounds which help bounce light and brighten up darker narrow spaces like a hallway. This one is nice and sturdy and would also be great in a kitchen or another high traffic area. Perfect for homes with pets and kids too! I love thinking about the history of old rugs-where in the world have they been? What homes have they lived in? There is a certain romance and mystery to these hand knotted pieces of art.

/ / / condition: very good vintage condition. This rug tapers on one end from 2’8” to 2’7” with a slightly more organic shape. . It has been professionally cleaned, restored and the headends secured, ensuring many, many more years of life. I highly recommend using rug pad with grip backing to keep your rug in place and to smooth out any wrinkles from shipping-using a rug pad will also protect your rug from damage, and therefore prolong the life of your rug. But really- get a rug pad! I have handpicked this rug specifically for its rustic, timeworn appeal. It may have other small imperfections- which is part of the charm of these old textiles.

/ / / pile: low

/ / / pile height: 3/8"

/ / / weight: medium/sturdy (rug pad recommended)

/ / / colors: bone, mocha, cappuccino, espresso, grey-brown, indigo blue, salmon

/ / / The lighting conditions in the Experimental Vintage studio where these photos are taken are as follows: good natural light coming from a wall of large, south-facing windows on a sunny Portland day. This rug may look darker or brighter in your own space, depending on the natural lighting conditions in your home.

>> this item will ship to you within 3-5 business days via FedEx Ground or USPS Priority Mail, and includes insurance. I am happy to ship this rug internationally-please contact me for a custom shipping quote. <<

All sales are final.
I want you to love your Experimental Vintage goods!
Please look at the photos carefully and ask any and all questions before purchasing, as I do not accept returns.
Thank you for your understanding.
