/ / / We love the wrapping vine motifs found vintage Persian Sarouk rugs like this one- which usually come in deep jewel toned colors. However, this Sarouk is unique because of its very rare soft earthy color scheme. Soft salmon and steel blue along with the open field give this timeless design a more modern feel.
/ / / condition: very good vintage condition with some areas of zero pile and expertly done re-piling repair work. This rug tapers on one end from 2’9” to 2’7”. It has been professionally cleaned, restored and the headends secured, ensuring many, many more years of life. I highly recommend using rug pad with grip backing to keep your rug in place and to smooth out any wrinkles from shipping-using a rug pad will also protect your rug from damage, and therefore prolong the life of your rug. But really- get a rug pad! I have handpicked this rug specifically for its rustic, timeworn appeal. It may have other small imperfections- which is part of the charm of these old textiles.
