/ / / gorgeous vintage Persian rug with happy colors. This rug has been cut and sewn back together likely to remove an area beyond repair we love the cute quirkiness of it- she’s a special beauty! This rug is extra soft and plush, and feels wonderful under the feet. I love thinking about the history of old rugs-where in the world have they been? What homes have they lived in? There is a certain romance and mystery to these hand knotted pieces of art.

/ / / condition: good vintage condition. This rug is not perfectly rectangular, and tapers from 3’9” wide at one end to 3’7” on the other. This rug has been cut and sewn back together likely to remove an area beyond repair, please see photos. Due to this the rug has been priced accordingly. This rug has been professionally restored and the headends secured, ensuring many, many more years of life. I highly recommend using rug pad with grip backing to keep your rug in place and to smooth out any wrinkles from shipping-using a rug pad will also protect your rug from damage, and therefore prolong the life of your rug. But really- get a rug pad! I have handpicked this rug specifically for its rustic, timeworn appeal. It may have other small imperfections- which is part of the charm of these old textiles. I want you to love your rug! Please look at the photos carefully and ask any and all questions before purchasing, as all sales are final. This rug has been professionally cleaned and is ready for use.

/ / / pile: medium

/ / / weight: medium (rug pad recommended)

/ / / colors: shades of terra cotta, tulip, oxblood, kelley green, chocolate, espresso, dusty lavender, raspberry wine, umber, salmon, raisin, dusty teal, smokey blue, military blue, copper penny

This rug may look darker or brighter in your own space, depending on the natural lighting conditions in your home.
