/ / / A classic vintage Persian Malayer runner rug in soft colors like terra cotta and french blue. The repeating design lead the eye and with a sturdier handle it’s perfect for adding texture to a long galley style kitchen or entryway.
/ / / condition: very good vintage condition with a lovely ombre fade. This rug has a slight taper from 3’7” to 3’6” and a more organic shape that accentuates its hand knotted nature. With some expertly done repairs as well- this rug has been priced accordingly. It has been professionally cleaned, restored and the headends secured, ensuring many, many more years of life. I highly recommend using rug pad with grip backing to keep your rug in place and to smooth out any wrinkles from shipping-using a rug pad will also protect your rug from damage, and therefore prolong the life of your rug. But really- get a rug pad! I have handpicked this rug specifically for its rustic, timeworn appeal. It may have other small imperfections- which is part of the charm of these old textiles.
