/ / / gorgeous hand knotted vintage Persian Malayer runner rug, this smaller-sized runner rug is full of happy colors and botanical motifs- can you spot all of the tiny birds throughout? Perfect for galley style kitchens or those narrow hallways commonly found in vintage homes - she’s a special beauty! I love thinking about the history of old rugs-where in the world have they been? / / / condition: very good vintage condition. This rug does taper slightly on one end from 2’8” to 2’7”. It has been professionally cleaned, restored and the headends secured, ensuring many, many more years of life. I highly recommend using rug pad with grip backing to keep your rug in place and to smooth out any wrinkles from shipping-using a rug pad will also protect your rug from damage, and therefore prolong the life of your rug. But really- get a rug pad! I have handpicked this rug specifically for its rustic, timeworn appeal. It may have other small imperfections- which is part of the charm of these old textiles.
