$2,888.00
sold out

Measures: 11’4” x 8’0” (tapers to 7’10”)

100% wool pile on cotton foundation

/ / / What a beauty this vintage Persian Kashmar area rug is, with more moody hues and the perfect amount of patina- this rug will be fitting for a dining room, living room or another other high traffic zone or home.

/ / / condition: very good vintage condition, with a slight taper on one end from 8’0” to 7’10”. This rug does have many repairs, and areas of zero pile but is structurally sound, see photos for examples. It has been professionally cleaned, restored and the headends secured, ensuring many, many more years of life. I have handpicked this rug specifically for its rustic, timeworn appeal. It may have other small imperfections- which is part of the charm of these old textiles.

/ / / care: vacuum your rug carefully, avoiding the fringe. Spot clean with warm water and mild wool specific soap. I highly recommend using a rug pad to keep your rug in place, it will also protect your rug from damage, and therefore prolong the life of your rug.

/ / / pile: low/zero

/ / / pile height: 1/4”

/ / / weight: heavy/sturdy (rug pad recommended)

/ / / colors: mocha, latte, terra cotta, cork, cinnamon, georgia peach, burnt sienna, french blue, indigo blue, opal green, sage green, moss green, chocolate, espresso, aged bone, beige grey

/ / / The lighting conditions in the Experimental Vintage studio where these photos are taken are as follows: good natural light coming from a wall of large, south-facing windows on a mostly cloudy Portland day. This rug may look darker or brighter in your own space, depending on the natural lighting conditions in your home.
