/ / / We love vintage Hamadan rugs for their quality and resiliency- they are perfect for high traffic areas, and homes with pets and kids too. The persimmon field and un-dyed wool medallion and shoulders make this one particularly unique, with just the right amount of timeworn character.
/ / / condition: very good vintage condition. This rug does have a slight flare on one end tapering from 3’3” to 3’2”. It has been professionally cleaned, restored and the headends secured, ensuring many, many more years of life. I highly recommend using rug pad with grip backing to keep your rug in place and to smooth out any wrinkles from shipping-using a rug pad will also protect your rug from damage, and therefore prolong the life of your rug. But really- get a rug pad! I have handpicked this rug specifically for its rustic, timeworn appeal. It may have other small imperfections- which is part of the charm of these old textiles.
