vintage Caucasian rug, 3'9"x2'4"
Measures: 3’9” x 2’4”
100% wool pile on cotton foundation
/ / / A colorful and fun vintage Caucasian rug in the perfect scatter size for so many spaces, like the kitchen, bedside or as a doormat. Do you see all of the little birds in the design?
/ / / condition: very good vintage condition. It has been professionally cleaned, restored and the headends secured, ensuring many, many more years of life. I have handpicked this rug specifically for its rustic, timeworn appeal. It may have other small imperfections- which is part of the charm of these old textiles.
/ / / care: vacuum your rug carefully, avoiding the fringe. Spot clean with warm water and mild wool specific soap. I highly recommend using a rug pad to keep your rug in place, it will also protect your rug from damage, and therefore prolong the life of your rug.
/ / / pile: low
/ / / pile height: 1/4”
/ / / weight: medium (rug pad recommended)
/ / / colors: turquoise blue, mahogany, faded brick, mocha, sand, indigo, espresso, pale wheat, slate blue, bone
/ / / The lighting conditions in the Experimental Vintage studio where these photos are taken are as follows: good natural light coming from a wall of large, south-facing windows on a cloudy Portland day. This rug may look darker or brighter in your own space, depending on the natural lighting conditions in your home.
