/ / / With a charcoal black and sand color palette this is about as black and white as a vintage rug can get. I love the tiny hints of deep grape hiding in the medallions of this vintage Balouch rug too. To top it off the original kilim braided headends are intact which is always a joy to see.
/ / / condition: very good vintage condition. It has been professionally cleaned, restored and the headends secured, ensuring many, many more years of life. I highly recommend using rug pad with grip backing to keep your rug in place and to smooth out any wrinkles from shipping-using a rug pad will also protect your rug from damage, and therefore prolong the life of your rug. But really- get a rug pad! I have handpicked this rug specifically for its rustic, timeworn appeal. It may have other small imperfections- which is part of the charm of these old textiles.
