/ / / gorgeous hand knotted antique Heriz rug a very rare smaller and squareish size, a collectible rug with muted color and timeworn appeal- she’s a special beauty! I love thinking about the history of old rugs-where in the world have they been? What homes have they lived in? There is a certain romance and mystery to these hand knotted pieces of art.

/ / / condition: very good antique condition. This rug has an organic shape and does also taper on one end from 3’5” to 3’3”. This rug has been professionally cleaned, restored and the headends secured, ensuring many, many more years of life. I highly recommend using rug pad with grip backing to keep your rug in place and to smooth out any wrinkles from shipping-using a rug pad will also protect your rug from damage, and therefore prolong the life of your rug. But really- get a rug pad! I have handpicked this rug specifically for its rustic, timeworn appeal. It may have other small imperfections- which is part of the charm of these old textiles.

/ / / pile: low/zero

/ / / weight: medium/light (rug pad recommended)

/ / / colors: brick, terra cotta, indigo, denim, aqua, rose, milk chocolate, tulip, wheat, lake blue, ivory

/ / / The lighting conditions in the Experimental Vintage studio where these photos are taken are as follows: good natural light coming from a wall of large, east-facing windows on a partially sunny Portland day. This rug may look darker or brighter in your own space, depending on the natural lighting conditions in your home.

>> this item will ship to you within 3-5 business days via FedEx Ground or USPS Priority Mail, and includes insurance. I am happy to ship this rug internationally-please contact me for a custom shipping quote. <<

Please look at the photos carefully and ask any and all questions before purchasing, as I do not accept returns.
Thank you for your understanding.
