/ / / gorgeous vintage Turkoman rug with a repeating gul design in soft, natural dye colors. She’s a special beauty! I love thinking about the history of old rugs-where in the world have they been? What homes have they lived in? There is a certain romance and mystery to these hand knotted pieces of art.

/ / / condition: good vintage condition with low pile in some places and an ombre fade. This rug is not perfectly rectangular and tapers slightly, as seen in the photos. This rug has been professionally restored and the headends secured, ensuring many, many more years of life. I highly recommend using rug pad with grip backing to keep your rug in place and to smooth out any wrinkles from shipping-using a rug pad will also protect your rug from damage, and therefore prolong the life of your rug. But really- get a rug pad! I have handpicked this rug specifically for its rustic, timeworn appeal. It may have other small imperfections- which is part of the charm of these old textiles. I want you to love your rug! Please look at the photos carefully and ask any and all questions before purchasing, as all sales are final. This rug has been professionally cleaned and is ready for use.

/ / / pile: low/velvety

/ / / weight: medium (rug pad recommended)

/ / / colors: shades of terra cotta, persimmon, espresso, charcoal, bone.

/ / / The lighting conditions in the Experimental Vintage studio where these photos are taken are as follows: good natural light coming from a wall of large, east-facing windows on a cloudy Portland day. This rug may look darker or brighter in your own space, depending on the natural lighting conditions in your home.

>> this item will ship to you in via FedEx Ground or USPS Priority Mail, and includes insurance. I am happy to ship this rug internationally-please contact me for a custom shipping quote. <<

***Please take the time to read my return policy, as I do not make exceptions. Thank you!**
