/ / / condition: very good antique condition with low pile in some places. This rug is non-rectangular, as tapers from 9’8” to 9’5” in length, and 4’5” to 4’1” in width. I love these more organic shaped rugs- in my opinion, they help to bring a more natural element into Beverly angular western architecture. This rug has been professionally restored and the headends secured, ensuring many, many more years of life. I highly recommend using rug pad with grip backing to keep your rug in place and to smooth out any wrinkles from shipping-using a rug pad will also protect your rug from damage, and therefore prolong the life of your rug. But really- get a rug pad! I have handpicked this rug specifically for its rustic, timeworn appeal. It may have other small imperfections- which is part of the charm of these old textiles.
