/ / / gorgeous vintage Turkish rug with a wide open geometric design, and the thickest/softest pile that feels so cozy and wonderful under the feet. The pale apricot colored field is a rare find- she’s a special beauty! I love thinking about the history of old rugs-where in the world have they been? What homes have they lived in? There is a certain romance and mystery to these hand knotted pieces of art.

This rug has been professionally repaired and restored, with the headends secured-ensuring many, many more years of life. I highly recommend a non-slip rug pad to keep your rug securely in place, and to smooth out any wrinkles from shipping. No really get a rug pad! You will love your rug more with one, plus a rug pad protects from wear. I have handpicked this rug specifically for its rustic, timeworn appeal.
